Menzolit has a variety of products to serve the spe-cial needs of sanitary parts and domestic appliances, whereas the area of sanitary in Europe is growing. More and more bath tubs and shower trays are moulded from SMC to use the combination of strength, stiffness and appeal. Some of the parts are coated directly in the mould. Moreover, we produce granite-based materials used for kitchen sinks for instance. Many householddevices that are heated such as waffle makers, toa-sters, irons and egg cookers are made by using some injection moulded BMC parts for the area where most of the heat is developed. Typical examples are the heat shields of irons. Apart from the heat resistance, the pigmentability especially in bright colours is a demand in combination with a shiny surface.
